The White Princess

The White Princess is the continuation of the White Queen saga written by Phillipa Gregory that was adapted for the Starz Network. This is the union of Elizabeth York (Elizabeth Woodville, The White Queen’s) daughter who marries Henry VII from the house of Lancaster. Their marriage unites the house of York and the House of Lancaster to make the newly formed House of Tudor.

During this time the War of the Roses begins to fade but there are still hidden dangers and plots to overthrow the King. The constant plotting in the palace makes for a very dangerous and interesting back story. The complicated family dynamics and fight for power never seem to cease. This take on historical events is very well done in this series. The cast, costumes, scenery, and acting make this an entertaining and thrilling series! I highly recommend it if you love the War of the Roses or historical fiction dramas!
