Dark Angel ( British TV Series)- Movie Review

I am a huge fan of Downtown Abbey and especially Joanna Froggatt. I have watched her in several movies and every time I have enjoyed them more and more. She is fastly becoming one of my favorite tv actresses. A few months ago the BBC released a mini-series called Dark Angel starring Joanna Froggatt. I did not see the original release but I was able to catch this 3 part series on Amazon Prime (USA edition). If you get this, I highly recommend this show, loosely based on a real person and story!

Dark Angel is adapted from the book Mary Ann Cotton: Britain’s First Female Serial Killer by David Wilson. This story is based on the real-life of Mary Ann Cotton. Mary Ann Cotton, one of the first known female serial killers that were convicted and hanged for murdering her stepson. She was also rumored to have killed 3 out of 4 of her husbands for their insurance money and for having murdered 11 out of her 13 children!

Joanna does an amazing acting job, very disturbing but highly engrossing and entertaining to watch. Let me know if you watch it and what you think about it below.
