Vanity Fair Season 1 Review- Amazon Prime

I am a lover of period pieces and historical fiction. These are my go-to vices when aimlessly searching for something to binge-watch on Netflix or Amazon. I came across Vanity Fair several months ago and saved it in my favorites before I finally sat down and watched it. I loved it! Seriously, I was hooked from the beginning!

The main character of Rebecca Sharp is a girl born of meager and humble background but has grand plans for herself and her future. Rebecca schemes her way through 19th-century English high society and will stop at nothing to get what she wants.

This adaption of Vanity Fair has a modern twist to it with a lot of interesting music, looks at the camera and artistic flare. The main actress Olivia Cook does an amazing job in this series and delivers a very believable performance. I was happy to see some other notable actors in this series such as Claudia Jesse who starred in Briderton and Johnny Flynn from Emma and Ripley.
